Art Major B.F.A.

This degree program requires students to present a portfolio of 10 completed art works produced from the Foundation (A.) Core courses, in addition to a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 in Visual Arts courses, for an entry screening.

Note: Students seeking to combine the B.F.A. with Teacher Licensure will need 34 additional semester credits in Professional Education, which will require additional time to complete. Close consultation with an advisor is essential. C. Concentration (12 credits; at least 7 credits must be taken at the 3000 level or higher.)

May be taken in graphic design, drawing, printmaking, painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry/metals, art history, Native American art, exhibit design, or a two-dimensional or three-dimensional cumulative concentration. In addition this concentration requires an Art Museum Experience.
