Bemidji State University is one of 54 campuses that make up the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. This statewide system of community colleges, technical colleges, and universities is governed by a Board of Trustees. The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system is dedicated to providing students with a wide array of opportunities for life-long education in both technical and academic fields, ranging from short-course certificates to advanced degrees. Approximately 250,000 students take credit-based courses from the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system each year.
