Fields of Emphasis

The fields of emphasis encourage elementary education majors to gain depth in understanding, to increase instructional capabilities, and to establish a base or further specialization on the graduate level should they desire such specialization. Fields of emphasis specially designed for the elementary school teacher must be chosen from the listing below. Students should consider their strengths and interests when choosing a field of emphasis.

A. Art
