Kindergarten Endorsement

The Kindergarten endorsement is available to elementary education majors. Although not required, as much of the Early Childhood field of emphasis as possible is recommended for elementary education majors wishing to add the Kindergarten Endorsement. Students must complete ED 3670 and ED 4700 before enrolling in kindergarten student teaching.

Required Courses

ED 3670 Foundations of Kindergarten and Early Childhood Education (3 credits)
ED 4700 Developmentally Appropriate Early Childhood Education (3 credits)
ED 4850 Elective Student Teaching, Kindergarten (6 credits)

Total Semester Credits Required for Licensure 12 Credits
