Residence Halls
The residence halls on campus offer a variety of living opportunities and room options. All residence halls are smoke free. Unique learning communities include the First Year Residential Experience, Open Borders Learning Community, Honors Learning Community. Also available are the Cedar Single Parent Apartments. Students are encouraged to complete their Residence Hall Application/Contract and prepayment upon acceptance to Bemidji State University. The Residence Hall Application/Contract and prepayment can be completed online at www.bemidjistate.edu/students/reslife/apply/. Once a Residence Hall Application/Contract and prepayment have been accepted, a student is bound by the terms of the contract. Room assignments are made based on the date the Application/Contract and prepayment are accepted.

Cedar Apartments
Twenty-one apartments (two and three bedroom) are available to single parents and their dependents. Due to the special nature of this living option, a separate application, including references and an interview, must be completed prior to acceptance to Cedar Apartments. Please contact the Department of Residential Life for an application or go to www.bemidjistate.edu/students/reslife/housing/residence_halls/cedar/index.cfm.
