THTR 1600 Introduction to Play Production (3 credits)

Introduction to the collaborative experience of communicating a script to an audience through a mounted production, with the understanding that dramatic literature is more than the written word on the page. The entire production process is examined, including business, management, technical production, and performance as well as the roles of the different individuals involved in theatrical production. It is the foundation course for Theatre majors and minors. Lecture, discussion D2L. Liberal Education Goal Area 11 (Might not be offered every year)
