Accessibility

This is the ADA Compliance and Accessibility Statement for the BSU website. Please contact Web Services if you are unable to access any content on this site.

Access Keys

Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the website. On Windows, you can press ALT + an access key; on Macintosh, you can press Control + an access key, or Control + Option + an access key.

All pages on the main BSU site (http://www.bemidjistate.edu) define the following access keys:

Design and Layout

  1. This site uses cascading style sheets to control (CSS) all aspects of layout and presentation.
  2. Most, if not all, fonts on this site are sized using relative font sizes and will adjust automatically to your browser’s default text size.
  3. Content contained within this site will degrade to a usable text-only design when CSS is not available.

Javascript

  1. Javascript is employed to enhance usability and graphic appeal.
  2. Javascript used on this site is implemented in a non-invasive manner and is not required to use the site or access content within.

Standards Compliance

Note: This site has undergone major renovation and as such not all pages may be in 100% compliance. The BSU web development team is working hard to ensure compliancy.
If you find a page that is not compliant or is unreadable in your browser, please contact Web Services immediately.

This site aims to adhere to the guidelines published by W3C and Section 508. All pages validate HTML 4.01.
