			MASC 2925 People of the Environment: Mass Media Perspectives (3 credits)
		For both majors and non-majors. Theoretical aspects of the effect of the mass media on environmental processes.  Students should gain an understanding of the complexity of the cultural, political, and economic forces that shape media coverage of the environment, and the importance of such an understanding to maintaining a sustainable global environment. The course is a discussion section of the interdisciplanary lecture on environmental issues for liberal education. Liberal Education Goal Area 10.
