		For both majors and non-majors. Theoretical aspects of the effect of the mass media on environmental processes.  Students should gain an understanding of the complexity of the cultural, political, and economic forces that shape media coverage of the environment, and the importance of such an understanding to maintaining a sustainable global environment.
