This course is a survey of major movements, period tendencies, and key figures in the development of art, graphic design, craft, and industrial design between the early-19th century and 1950. Examination of technological advancements, world historical and art historical trends that surround these movements will also be an important goal in order to gain an effective understanding of this period.
