TADD 3010 Planning and Managing Small Events (2 credits)

This course offers an in-depth exploration of planning and managing small-scale events typically attracting fewer than 500 guests, such as weddings, corporate meetings, community gatherings, and private celebrations. Students will examine the unique dynamics of smaller events, including the purpose of intimate gatherings, timeline development, event organization, managing volunteers, logistical coordination, and evaluation. Emphasis will be placed on management strategies and how promotional principles can be tailored to small events to maximize their impact and ensure attendee satisfaction.
