This online course introduces the theories of pathological mechanisms that compromise healthy systems. The content is designed to compare abnormal structure and function of organ systems, discern how cellular function influences disease, and research treatment options for disease. Attention will be paid to how disruption of homeostasis manifests in human disease. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1112 or 1400.
