BIOL 4290 Introduction to Medical Imaging (3 credits)

This course compares different medical imaging modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) based on their physics and medical use. The course also provides students with an introductory overview of human anatomy, viewed in body sections as it relates to imaging, and pathology correlation to imaging appearance. Prerequisite(s): (BIOL 1112 or BIOL 1400) and (PHYS 1102 or PHYS 2102).
