Whether you’re planning to attend Bemidji State University or are currently enrolled, the Veteran’s Assistance Center is here to help you navigate the processes often required to utilize the benefits you’ve earned. We can help current military members, veterans and their family members with education benefits.
Center staff can help you determine whether you’re eligible for the GI Bill, scholarships, disability services, personal counseling, tutoring, financial aid and other college-related services. They can also provide assistance to your family.
Besides connecting with resources, you will find that the center is also a great place to connect with others. Stop by the center to grab a cup of coffee, study or chat with other veterans.
The Center partners with the Veteran’s Administration’s Vet Center out of Duluth, MN. Readjustment counselors are available, by appointment, to meet with certain veterans. Contact our office to find out more.
To learn more about the help available to you as a veteran, stop by the Veteran’s Assistance Center located the basement of Decker Hall, room 010. Or call us at 218-755-2230.
Bemidji State University and the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs cooperatively created and administer the Veteran’s Assistance Center.
