Psychology online – only from Bemidji State!
Bemidji State is the only Minnesota State school to offer a convenient online bachelor’s degree-completion program in Psychology. Please note that summer and fall 2017 Psychology courses are full, with few exceptions. New applicants will be placed on a waitlist for potential registration for Spring 2018 courses.
You may still apply to BSU for this program, but please be aware that you will not be able to register for any online Psychology courses for Fall 2017. You will be placed on a waitlist for starting the program in the Spring 2018, assuming there is course availability. If you have non-Psychology courses to take (liberal education), or have interest in a double-major or an online minor, you may still be able to build a class schedule.
The BSU Department of Psychology is excited to offer this program, which affords great flexibility to working or off-campus students. You may choose to earn either a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. There are no differences in the course requirements, and in general, the two degrees are equally respected by employers and graduate schools.
Notes: If your liberal education and elective degree requirements are complete, consider double-majoring with another online program. We suggest Criminal Justice, Marketing Communication, Business Administration, Applied Management, or Nursing (RN-to-BS). In addition, plan to continue your psychology studies in graduate school, to better your odds of landing a great job as a professional.
You must transfer at least 24 semester credits to begin this online degree-completion program. Consider completing the Minnesota transfer curriculum first, to simplify your major and degree requirements from BSU.
