Our accredited program for working registered nurses allows students to complete a bachelor of science in nursing through a combination of on-campus and online coursework.
Students may enroll on either a full- or part-time basis, and meet on campus just three times during the semester, plus once for new student orientation in August. Courses are offered in Bemidji, Cambridge, Duluth, Coon Rapids, and White Bear Lake, and students are able to arrange their clinical experiences as close to home as possible.
Eligibility: Students must be a graduate of a state-approved associate degree or diploma nursing program and be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Minnesota, or be a graduate with license pending.
Credits required for RN-to-BS major: 36 credits. (4 additional upper-level credits are required)
Credits required for Bachelor’s of Science degree: 120 credits minimum.
Delivery options: Blended delivery, mostly online courses with some on-campus sessions. Campus choices include Bemidji, Anoka Ramsey – Coon Rapids or Cambridge, Century College – White Bear Lake, Lake Superior College – Duluth.
