Bio

Dr. Kelly La Venture is a prestigious Fulbright Scholar and Professor to Know in Online MBA Programs in Minnesota. She is an Associate Professor of Business Administration in the College of Business, Mathematics, and Science at Bemidji State University, where she teaches corporate social responsibility and marketing management in the MBA Program and marketing research and marketing management in the Marketing Program. All of Dr. La Venture’s courses are Quality Matters certified.

In addition to her teaching duties, Dr. La Venture serves as director of BSU’s Marketing Assistance and Research Solutions (MARS) — a professional, quality market research agency staffed by confident and capable junior and senior-level students who provide customized research for clients throughout Northern Minnesota and beyond.

Dr. La Venture is a published scholar with works appearing in peer-reviewed scholarly journals including the Journal of Organizational Psychology, Public Integrity, the International Journal for Cross-Disciplinary Subjects in Education, and the Journal of Applied Business Research. Dr. La Venture is also co-author of the book, “The Human Factor to Profitability: Leveraging People-Centered Cultures as Meaningful Organizations” and an international keynote speaker.

Dr. La Venture earned her BS and MS degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, her MBA from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and her EdD from the University of St. Thomas.

Dr. La Venture volunteers her time serving the community and supporting local business through her work with the Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce and Bemidji Alliance.
