Michael Lund joined the TAD faculty at BSU in 2014 and teaches courses in materials science and metallurgy, electronics technology, power technology, industrial design, and engineering problem solving.
Before joining BSU, he was an Assistant Professor in the Composite Materials Engineering Department at Winona State University, teaching courses in 3D modeling, engineering design, composite materials, materials science, and microscopy techniques. Prior to this he worked as an engineer designing custom cryogenic systems.
His current research interests involve investigating the linkage between a material’s magnetic and mechanical properties, particularly at the nanoscale.
