Biography

Miriam White has been teaching in the special education field since 1988. She has taught students with a variety of disabilities in grades 1-12. Her focus is on Special Education and Elementary Education Language Arts She has been a trainer for the Minnesota Department of Education’s new Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) manual, is part of the SLD leadership team and is president of the Minnesota Chapter for Learning Disabilities. Dr. White presents at local, state, and national conferences on topics dealing with language arts and special education.
