SBDC hosts Jan. 31 session on starting a small business

BEMIDJI, Minn. —     A presentation covering the basic steps to starting one’s own business will be held Thursday, Jan. 31 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Bemidji State University Center for Research and Innovation, located at 3801 Bemidji Avenue North.

Coordinated by the Northwest Regional Small Business Development Center and presented by Jorge Prince, director of the SBDC, the three-hour session will focus on feasibility, business plan basics, basic legal requirements and understanding the various aspects of financing a business.

The registration fee for the class is $40 per person or $60 for partners, which includes all materials, and is payable at the door.

The Minnesota Small Business Development Centers (MnSBDC) provide no-cost, professional business consulting to small businesses on a variety of business needs.
