Welcome to the 2021 TAD Senior Portfolio Review.
This page, and the links to the left, will give you the details of the day’s events.
On the afternoon of Friday, April 30th, The School of Technology, Art & Design (The TAD School) is hosting a series of portfolio review sessions. This virtual experience allows graduating seniors the opportunity to present their work to family, friends, classmates, and industry. In each review session, students will seek feedback from expert reviewers, who will provide critical analysis of the work, allowing the student to proactively adjust before entering the world as professional artists, designers, and makers.
The Senior Portfolio Review Day has a rich history in The TAD School. The format for this year’s virtual experience will be different than in the past.
Students will be facilitating their portfolio review sessions for reviewers, family, friends, colleagues, classmates, and industry via Zoom. Therefore, use this website to navigate the agenda and presenters links to the left.
The Senior Portfolio Review sessions will begin at noon. There will be four different time slots (12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM) for students to share their work. Students will open their zoom meeting approximately 15 minutes before their designated time. Five minutes after their specified time, the presenter will call their portfolio review session to order and introduce their reviewers. The student’s presentations will last between 16-20 minutes. After the presentation, the portfolio reviewers will formally introduce themselves and facilitate a reviewer forum with the student. The goal of the reviewer adjudication process is to provide constructive feedback for the student.
As a participant in the Senior Portfolio Review Day, we invite everyone to participate in multiple sessions. If you are not actively in a session, you are welcome to stay live with us throughout the afternoon in The TAD HUB, which will be a virtual zoom room open to the entire community that day.
