About the Department

The Department of Public Safety is a division of Bemidji State University’s Office of Finance and Administration. This department is responsible for all campus security, environmental health & safety and parking enforcement at both BSU and Northwest Technical College (NTC).

The President of BSU and NTC has granted the Department of Public Safety the authority to take appropriate actions necessary to maintain a safe and secure environment on all property owned, leased or occupied by the university and college.
