Alum Works with Suspected Ebola Patients in Kansas City

Bemidji State University alumni Dr. Lee Norman, a 1974 graduate with degrees in psychology and social work, is the chief medical officer at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.

In October of 2014, he oversaw the hospital’s efforts to contain and treat two patients who were determined to be at risk of carrying the Ebola virus. He shared his story with BSU while he was back on campus celebrating Homecoming in 2014.
