Readers will be sorry to learn that Bemidji State’s publications coordinator, Kathy Berglund, retired this month after 29 years of outstanding service to the university. As the lead designer in the Office of Communications and Marketing, Kathy has applied her talents to innumerable projects while mentoring dozens of design students into successful careers. Bemidji State University magazine, previously called Horizons, has been a labor of love for Kathy. Here she is with some of her favorite magazine designs.
