About Jorgen

Hello, my name is Jorgen Hamel. I am graduating this year with a major in Technology, Art, and Design with an emphasis in Illustration and Animation. Years ago if you were to ask me what I wanted to do after high school, I would’ve answered with wanting to become a Science Teacher. However, 6 years ago I picked up a pencil and started drawing and began to craft my own illustrations and style and became immersed in creating my own characters and world. Before coming to BSU I learned about illustrating mainly on my own. Wanting to seek further education I joined the Technology, Art, and Design program. After graduation I am looking to pursue a career in character design and illustration as well as my own freelance studio.

Presentation Description

For my presentation I will be showcasing three different subjects from throughout my years here at BSU: a showcase of my numerous character designs, focusing on three of them, three custom movie posters, and a four page comic layout featuring my own characters.
