New hires at BSU

• Amna Al-Arfaj joined Bemidji State’s International Program Center in July as BSU’s new international recruiter.

Having grown up in both Minnesota and Kuwait, she has a bachelor’s degree in geography and women’s and gender studies from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree in geography from the University of Minnesota.

• Christopher Hoffman joined the disability services office as assistant disability coordinator in July.  His primary responsibilities will involve case management and the coordination of assistive technology in order to enhance the success of students with disabilities attending BSU. He has recently worked at BSU as Upward Bound outreach coordinator. He holds a master’s degree in special education from Bemidji State.
