BSU senior performs degree recital on Oct. 18

On Oct. 18, Bemidji State University student Lorrisa Skalsky will perform her senior recital in the Thompson Recital Hall of the Bangsburg Fine Arts Complex on campus.

Skalsky, a vocal and instrumental music education major from Thief River Falls, Minn., will perform her degree recital in two halves. First she will sing pieces composed by Antonín Dv?oák, Samuel Barber and Henri Duparc. Skalsky will follow her first act with compositions on the oboe by Giovanni Battista Sammartini and Paul Hindemith and an English horn piece by Walter Ross.

The performance will begin at 3 p.m. and is open free to everyone.
