Former Copper City, Mich., resident named president of Bemidji State University, Northwest Technical College

Former Copper City resident Faith Hensrud, Ph.D., was named president of Bemidji State University and Northwest Technical College, both located in Bemidji, Minn., on April 20.

She is the daughter of Marie Harjala, a former Copper City resident who now lives in Marquette, and the late Arthur Harjala.

Faith (Harjala) Hensrud graduated from Calumet High School in 1981.
