Mitch Blessing has joined The TAD School as an assistant professor of technology, art and design. Blessing is a BSU alum and former local business owner.
	Tracy Caravella has joined the Department of Human Performance, Sport and Health as an assistant professor. Before joining the faculty at BSU, she spent 12 years at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
	Katherine Houchins has joined the Department of Social Work as an adjunct instructor.
	When Dr. Dwight Jilek joins the BSU campus community as director of choral music this fall, he will be called upon to continue a legacy of vocal music education that began in 1937 when Carl O. Thompson was hired to teach vocal music and music theory and history.
	Angie Kovarik has joined the Department of Business Administration as an assistant professor. She comes to BSU after spending nearly five years as a Clinical Informatics Operations Analyst/IT Applications at Sanford Health in Bemidji.
	Zhe “Cliff” Li has joined the Department of Business Administration as an assistant professor. He recently graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln after spending five years as a graduate assistant in its Finance Department.
	Amanda Longie is a new adjunct instructor in the Department of Social Work.
	Christina Marietti has joined the Department of Professional Education as an adjunct instructor.
	City of Bemidji Chief of Police Mike Mastin has joined the Department of Criminal Justice as an adjunct instructor.
	Obed Nyaribo has joined the Department of Business Administration as an assistant professor.
	Chris Tower has accepted a full-time faculty position in the Department of Professional Education as an assistant professor and director of clinical experiences, effective Aug. 16. Last year, he was with the department as an adjunct instructor and teacher candidate supervisor.
	Miriam Webber has joined the Department of Music as an assistant professor. She comes to Bemidji from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she was an adjunct instructor of music.
	Jean Weyer has joined the Department of Professional Education as an adjunct instructor.
