The BSU Honors Program brought three students to the Upper Midwest Regional Honors Conference in April. The theme of this year’s conference was “Embracing Failure.”
Honors students Samuel Galatz, a 2019 BSU graduate, Michaela Osborn, a junior majoring in project management and Paul Warner, a sophomore majoring in wildlife biology attended the conference with Dr. Season Ellison, assistant professor and director of honors , Dr. Tracy Caravella, associate professor and honors thesis advisor and Patrick Leeport, assistant professor of library services.
Galatz presented an abridged version of their honors thesis. The attendees also hosted a panel discussion about “Modeling Failure,” where they discussed sharing their own failures with students and how to recreate negative self-talk into positive self-talk.
