The Bemidji State University Office of Admissions hosted seventy prospective students and their families at a Winter Academic Open House on Jan. 10.

Attending students met with professors representing more than sixty majors and minors, as well as staff from numerous student support services. Following lunch catered by Campus Dining, the admissions team gave a short presentation regarding next steps in becoming a BSU student. Visitors were then divided into groups based on major interest for a guided tour of campus with University Ambassadors, current BSU students employed by the Office of Admissions.

In conclusion of the program, students were welcome to participate in scholarship, financial aid, and transfer credit workshops. This event was open to all prospective students, however, it was specially designed for students who have already been admitted to BSU.
