Bemidji State to Host Social Work Supervision Institute for Field Instructors

This summer, Bemidji State University’s social work department is hosting a two-day Social Work Supervision Institute for social work supervisors serving as field instructors for BSU students.

The two-day institute offers culturally responsive supervision training for community members who are working with students enrolled in Bemidji State’s social work program. It will also explore student learning goals, neuro leadership in social work and applying the resiliency-focused supervision models.

The event will be hosted on Zoom on June 3-4 and will feature Bemidji State’s Assistant Professor of Social Work Dr. Brenda Mack with opening remarks from Bemidji State President Faith C. Hensrud.
