“Books Unbound” Art Exhibit in Bemidji State’s A.C. Clark Library

Bemidji State University’s “Books Unbound” art exhibit will be on display through May 7 in the A.C. Clark Library.

The exhibition was open to submissions from the area community and features the work of artists and community members of all ages including Bemidji State’s Cindy Nelson, adjunct instructor of communication studies, Jo Li, Northstar visiting scholars coordinator, and Jenny Kolodji, an elementary education senior from Laporte, Minnesota.

“Community engagement has always been part of the BSU mission and ‘Books Unbound’ is a great chance to solicit all members of the community to be involved,” Dianne Narum, cataloging and government documents librarian, said. “Now that community gathering is a possibility again, this is the perfect opportunity to move forward with an event like this.”

An opening reception was held on April 7.
