Dr. Sean Wachsmuth, associate professor of professional education, co-authored a manuscript accepted for publication in the Journal of Behavioral Disorders.
Titled “Exploring Extracurricular Activity Participation, School Engagement, and Social Competence for Students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorder” and written in collaboration with Dr. Tim Lewis (University of Missouri) and Dr. Nicholas Gage (University of Florida), the study examines the relationship between participation in extracurricular activities, the development of social skills and school engagement.
