BSU Invites Public to Service-Learning Event on April 20

Bemidji State University will host its Community Partner Meet-and-Greet networking event and service-learning information session on Thursday, April 20 at the Mayflower Building in downtown Bemidji from 4 – 6 p.m.

BSU and Northwest Technical College faculty, staff and students will share service-learning and community-engagement opportunities designed to bring together students and community organizations. BSU students will also showcase a variety of service-learning projects they have recently completed in the Bemidji community.

BSU and NTC’s service-learning program exists to create community engagement opportunities in the Bemidji community and to provide personal and academic growth to BSU and NTC students.

All community partners and organizations are invited to attend and are encouraged to bring business cards to share with others. Food and door prizes will be provided.

RSVPs are requested, but not required, by April 17 to Dr. Donna Pawlowski, director of academic service-learning at BSU.

The Community Partner Meet-and-Greet is open to the media and public.
