Three members of Bemidji State University’s Department of Music helped the Fargo Moorhead Opera welcome its new director, Curt Olds, at an Oct. 28 Celebration Concert at North Dakota State University.
BSU’s Dr. Cory Renbarger, professor of music, Dr. Miriam Webber associate professor of music, and Dr. Jennifer Olson, assistant professor of music, were featured in the one-night-only concert at NDSU’s Reineke Concert Hall. Renbarger and Olson performed several arias, duets and operatic choruses alongside 10 other local vocalists. Webber played bassoon in the orchestra.
The Celebration Concert opened the company’s 55th season and its first under Olds’ direction.
