BSU students volunteering

Bemidji State University will host its Community Partner Meet-and-Greet networking event and service-learning information session on Monday, April 22 at the Mayflower Building in downtown Bemidji from 4 – 6 p.m.

BSU faculty, staff and students will share service-learning and community-engagement opportunities designed to bring together students and community organizations. BSU students will also showcase a variety of service-learning projects they have recently completed in the Bemidji community.

BSU’s service-learning program exists to create community engagement opportunities in the Bemidji community and to provide personal and academic growth to BSU.

All community partners and organizations are invited to attend and are encouraged to bring materials to share with others. Food and door prizes will be provided.

RSVPs are requested, but not required, by April 18 to Dr. Donna Pawlowski, director of academic service-learning at BSU.

The Community Partner Meet-and-Greet is open to the media and public.
