The School of Music offers Bachelor of Science degrees in music education (vocal or instrumental), Bachelor of Music degrees in instrumental performance, vocal performance, and piano performance and pedagogy, and the Bachelor of Arts degree in general music.

Please note: Students must participate in a major ensemble every semester while enrolled as a music major. Six semesters of major ensemble participation fulfill the degree requirement. Ensemble participation may be enrolled for 0–2 credits per semester; additional participation beyond the degree requirement may be completed for 0 credits or may generate elective/excess credits.
Additionally, students must enroll in applied lessons every semester until the Degree Recital is passed. Four semester credits of applied lessons fulfill the degree requirement. Additional applied lesson enrollment required prior to completion of the Degree Recital generates elective/excess credits and does not increase the four-credit applied-study requirement.
