Honoring Tradition: AIRC Hosts Annual Day of Welcome to Kick Off the Fall 2020 Semester

Bemidji State University’s American Indian Resource Center held the 13th annual Day of Welcome virtually on Aug. 26. The event started with a welcome and honor song, a pipe ceremony and a blessing. Attendees were also invited inside the AIRC for a taste of mannomin (wild rice).
