Steps to Admission and Registration

Taking classes on-campus or online is just steps away, with BSU's online application and registration processes. If you are not already a BSU student, you can apply for regular admission. Or if you do not plan to complete a degree at BSU, you may admitted as a Special Student and register for classes once your application has been processed. If you are already a BSU student, you may proceed to Step 2 in the "Registration Steps" section below.

Dates & Deadlines

  • Registration Dates for Summer Session
    March 2 through the first day of classes
  • Course Cancellations
    Course cancellations are based on registration enrollment two weeks prior to the start of the course.  Early registration may help insure that a class will be offered.
  • Tuition Due Dates
    Tuition is due 15 business days prior to the first day of the term.

Registration Steps

  1. Apply for Admission to BSU
    If you are a new student (not previously attended BSU), your personal identification information must be entered into the student records system. Undergraduate Admission, Graduate Admission
  2. Register for Classes
    Register using the Web registration system. Refer to the class schedule for correct course ID numbers and credit values. All students are responsible for reviewing the Summer Session Registration Policies
  3. Pay Your Tuition and Fees
    Fee statements will be available online only. Payments may be made online or at the Cashier's Office. More information on tuition and fees.

Students who have not enrolled for courses for some time may need to contact Records and Registration to activate their registration access codes.
