Sustainable Tuesdays schedule set for February

Sustainable Tuesdays, a weekly presentation on topics related to environmental and sustainability issues presented by Bemidji State University’s Sustainability Office, will include a seed exchange and tips for defeating the winter blues later this month.

Sustainable Tuesdays are held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Rail River Folk School, located at 303 Railroad St. SW in Bemidji, unless otherwise indicated. They are open free to the public.

Feb. 26 – Exploring Treaty Rights and Sustainability
This presentation will explore treaty rights in Minnesota, how they affect choices to live more sustainably, and the role that recognizing and upholding these rights plays in sustaining a cultural connection to the environment.
