The indigenous sustainability studies degree unites indigenous and non-indigenous views of sustainability and the environment. The degree program is designed for students who want to learn how to solve problems using multiple perspectives. By taking classes in environmental studies and Indigenous studies, students will learn to protect and preserve Mother Earth. Students who pursue the indigenous sustainability studies degree have interned with the: Ojibwe Immersion Academy in Cloquet, Indigenous Environmental Network, North American Bear Center, Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe DNR, Red lake DNR and Panthera Olympic Cougar Project.
