Continuing as an Undergraduate
Stay with us at Bemidji State University after high school graduation! PSEO credits will easily transfer into one of our undergraduate degrees since they were earned right here at BSU!
Students need to apply for undergraduate admissions in order to continue at BSU. To stay on track with housing, scholarships, and registration, the best time to apply is the fall of your senior year in high school.
The Office of Admissions is happy to answer any questions you might have about undergraduate applications!
If you plan to continue your undergraduate elsewhere, you can work with the Records Office to have official BSU transcripts sent out.
Requesting your Associate of Arts Degree from BSU
Before you request your degree, make sure that:
- All core curriculum goal areas on your Degree Audit Report must be complete.
- You need to have completed 60+ college credits, at least 20 of which need to be from BSU.
- You may not have an Associate of Arts degree posted until you have graduated from high school.
- A Graduation Application must be on file with the Records Office before your degree is posted.
Request Steps
- Submit your Graduation Plans during your last semester. On the “Semester/Year courses will be completed” line, list the BSU semester that aligns with your high school graduation date. Most often, this will be the summer semester.
- After high school graduation, contact your high school to request an official FINAL high school transcript be sent to Bemidji State University Admissions. Transcripts need to be sent via the secure online system or through the mail in a sealed envelope directly from your high school to:
Bemidji State University
Office of Admissions
1500 Birchmont Dr. NE
Deputy Hall 102, #13
Bemidji, MN 56601
- Notify the PSEO Coordinator that your high school transcript is on the way and that your grad plans have been submitted.
- Wait to hear from the Records Office about the status of your degree.
