Bemidji State University 2026 Commencement

Bemidji State University will celebrate 2026 graduates at the following ceremonies:
- 10 a.m. — College of Creativity, Enterprise and Place
- 1 p.m. — College of Sciences and Health
Important Commencement Information — (this will be posted the week of March 16 and emailed to students that have submitted their graduation plans). Review for information regarding 2026 Commencement.
Planning for Commencement
- Application for Graduation for undergraduate students — Graduation applications are due March 2, 2026, to be included in the commencement ceremonies. Students who submit applications for graduation after March 2nd will still have their plans reviewed and credentials conferred upon completion of the degree requirement.

- 2026 Commencement Booklet Information — A copy of the graduate’s names as they will appear in the commencement booklet by degree and program. Please review to verify that your name and information are correct. If your information is missing or contains an error, please reach out to graduation@bemidjistate.edu with questions. No changes to the commencement booklet will be accepted after April 3, 2026.

- Graduating with Honors — For the commencement ceremony, the cumulative GPA after the fall semester is used to determine honors. Official academic honors will be determined at the time of graduation after all grades have been entered. If you have questions, please e-mail: graduation@bemidjistate.edu. Please note: Academic honors apply to undergraduate students only.

Tickets
No tickets are required for the student or their guests. We do ask out of respect for your fellow students, please limit your number of guests to 10 or fewer.
If the Sanford Center reaches capacity, guests will be directed to an overflow location offsite where live stream can be viewed.

Each ceremony will last approximately an hour and will be live-streamed on Facebook, Vimeo and YouTube.
