Location, Parking & Concessions

Please note that Commencement is not held on the Bemidji State University campus. Commencement will be held at the Sanford Center, 1111 Event Center Drive NE, Bemidji MN. Parking is available at the Sanford Center for no additional charge. Students and guests may also park in the Bangsberg Hall parking lot on the BSU campus and carpool from there. No permits are required in BSU parking lots on Commencement Day.

Please allow time for travel and parking. To avoid lines into the Sanford Center, plan to arrive in plenty of time to get into the building through the metal detectors and find seating. Doors open for guests 1 hour prior to each ceremony.

The Sanford Center will have limited concessions, including candy and beverages, available to all guests.

Guests enter the Sanford Center through gates 2 and 3.

Students enter the Sanford Center through gate 4.
