Join us for an open forum on the Strategic enrollment Management Plan

Enrollment is a key factor in the future of Bemidji State University and the sustainability of our enrollment will take a strategic effort from faculty, staff, administration and students. In January 2014, a campus committee comprised of faculty, staff, students and administrators was established to create a Strategic Enrollment Management Plan (SEMP).

Over the past three months, the committee has been meeting weekly to build the first draft of the SEMP. We have been working with other members of the community to create campus definitions, ten enrollment goals, and strategies and action items to meet or exceed the proposed goals.

You are invited to participate in a campus forum to discuss the Draft SEMP this Wednesday, May 7, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Crying Wolf Room.

The forums will provide an opportunity for you to learn more about the SEMP, provide initial feedback on the goals, strategies and action items, and help guide the committee in the direction the community desires.

The Draft SEMP has been posted to the BSU portal in order for you to begin reviewing the document. When you click the BSU Portal link, if you are not currently logged into MyBSU, you will be redirected to the MyBSU login page. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be redirected back to the document download page. Once on the document download page, click on the document link to download.

If you are unable to attend the forum or need more time to process, we are requesting you continue to review the Draft SEMP and provide written feedback by the end of May 2014 to jparker@bemidjistate.edu.

The committee has developed the below timeline for soliciting feedback and formal presentation of the SEMP:
