Becky Fitzgerald is new to Upward Bound and to Minnesota. She moved to Bemidji in May with her husband and two dogs. Becky was an English teacher at Nixa High School (home of Jason Bourne) for fourteen years before heading north and is keen to work with high school students outside of the classroom setting. Becky has a Bachelors of Science in Education and a Masters in English from Missouri State University.

In her spare time, Becky likes to “nerd out” and is happy to lose all track of time when discussing interesting topics. She also likes to go on road trips with her husband and discover new Minnesota favorites.
