The Commencement Student Speaker Selection Committee is seeking nominations for students to speak at the upcoming Spring Commencement, May 8, 2026 The speaker must be a member of the graduating class from BSU Spring 2026. The time allotted for the student commencement speech is 3 minutes. The Selection Committee will review the applications and make recommendations of the top candidates. Final selection will be made by the President’s Cabinet.
The application deadline is April 1st, by 11:59 p.m. All applicants will be notified by April 7th.
