The Film Studies minor gives students the opportunity to pursue their interest in what continues to be one of the most important modes of communication in our society today. Film studies serves as an interdisciplinary crossroads.

This minor combines courses from multiple disciplines to create an integrated study of world perspectives, American history through film, documentary and fictional storytelling and creative writing. It also includes engaging film topics like The Mockumentary, British film, American Film Comedy, Myth and Film, Cinema of Redemption, Film and Literary Adaptation and International Film.
