Undergraduate Research, Scholarship or Creative Activity Award (URSCAA) Program

We are excited to launch the first cycle of the Undergraduate Research, Scholarship or Creative Activity Award (URSCAA) program. This program is designed to recognize and support undergraduate students engaging in research, scholarship and creative activities that highlight their academic discipline and personal interests. This competitive award program will provide funding to offset expenses associated with carrying out these projects and activities.

The application deadline for the 2022-2023 funding round has now lapsed.

The maximum award amount per project is $500.

Program guidelines, required forms and the evaluation rubric are provided below.

The detailed 2022-2023 URSCAA Program Guidelines include eligibility and project requirements along with narrative details. Read these guidelines carefully as incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

A committee made up of faculty, staff and administrators will review applications after the submission deadline has lapsed. Please refer to the Evaluation Rubric as you create your application materials to ensure all evaluation criteria are included and addressed in a clear and concise manner.

Please ensure all required attachments (i.e., Cover Sheet: one per student, Project Description, Budget with justification and Faculty Mentor Statement of Support) are uploaded as a single PDF or Word file. Do not forget to hit the SUBMIT button below.
